Day Dream poetry in sedoka form

rain drops rhythmic sound
cleansing all as it hits ground
mother earth thankfully smiles

birds singing loudly
sun breaks through the grey lined clouds
flowers blooming reach up high

eyes open slowly
snowflakes bitter bite wakes me
soon ..soon it will lose its grasp

  1. What a beautiful image you evoke. We know that spring WILL come.

  2. Tom,

Your poetic words, have helped to lift the gloomy mood here in England.
Beautiful words of hope and imagery.....

    Best wishes, Eileen :)

  3. nice sedoka! These are definitely three pearls of katauta that form a single strand. fine word choices make the images sing.
